NBPHE Welcomes New Director of Partnerships

NBPHE welcomes Melissa Boyette as the new Director of Partnerships. Before this appointment, Melissa served in the Division of STD Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Project Officer following her time as the Senior Coordinator for the Contact Tracing Support Team where she served as a subject matter expert (SME) for contact tracing for the COVID-19 and Mpox emergency responses. Prior to joining the CDC COVID-19 response, Ms. Boyette worked as a contact tracing SME for COVID-19 in various capacities at health departments and with Resolve to Save Lives starting in spring 2020. Ms. Boyette has 26 years of experience working in the field of surveillance and partner services for HIV and sexually transmitted infections both in Colorado and Alaska. She served as the HIV Surveillance Coordinator and lead HIV Disease Intervention Specialist for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services for 14 years where she pioneered the Alaska Linkage to Care program and provided statewide technical assistance for HIV testing, intervention, and prevention. Melissa currently lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband and two dogs where she enjoys hiking, camping, yoga, SUP, and travel.
